Our Story
RicoCoco's Chocolate Tea was founded in 2012 by Claudia, a native Peruvian who wanted to introduce something unique from her home country to Australia. She was inspired by the natural alternative way of enjoying chocolate and the health benefits of the cacao bean - the essential source of chocolate. It is the first Australian company to make tea from cacao husks!
Claudia met Ally through their respective businesses in 2019 and in 2025 Ally joined with high school best friend Jo to realise Claudia’s initial dream of sharing chocolate tea with Australia and beyond. Our clients are the most important part of our business. We want to give you the best possible experience while building connection through the sharing of stories while drinking this delicious, natural, sustainable, healthy tea.
